Abstract In order to study the feasibility of the application of cement-gangue powder composite materials in coal mine water prevention and control grouting engineering, the chemical composition, grinding fineness, fluidity, sedimentation rate and strength of raw materials of cement-gangue powder grouting materials with different dosages were studied by laboratory test. The results showed that with the change of gangue powder content, the physical performance indexes of grouting slurry showed certain rules, which provided theoretical support for practical application.
