Abstract Changping Mine 5302 heavy caving roof recovery mining face with large span, long roadway, multiple roadway heaving floor, seriously threatened the safe mining. Based on the nature of the surrounding rocks and the geological conditions of the recovery mining roadway, the research developed and practically applied the roadway heaving floor technology. The application effect showed that the heaving floor volume was reduced by 2.3 to 2.5 times, which effectively solved the safety hazards caused by the elevation of the heaving floor.
