Based on subsidence, surface buildings, infrastructure, traffic facilities, water conservancy facilities and farmland damaged in goaf, seismic prospecting technique was used to explore goaf situation so as to prevent occurence of collapse, dankness and so on. Taking actual seismic section of a area as an example from aspect of seismic exploration theory, reaction of goaf in seismic section was analyzed and seismic exploration to application in goaf was discussed as well.
