Abstract Safety monitoring and control system can effectively improve the safety of underground coal mining, and the determination of the inspection cycle is conducive to improving the detection accuracy and reducing the risk factors. This paper takes the Boli Coal Mine of Yangquan Coal Industry Group as the research object, and determines the causes of the problems in the maximum inspection cycle of the mine safety monitoring and control system through the test method. The single variable experimental method is used to eliminate the redundant fault factors, and it is determined that the link where the monitoring substation is located can carry the maximum number of monitoring substations, so as to ensure that the maximum inspection cycle of the safety monitoring and monitoring system meets the regulations and provide efficient early warning.
