Abstract In order to meet the gangue demand of comprehensive mechanized filling mining, Xingdong Mine has built a gangue storage and transportation system on the ground. Through the comparison of the schemes, the storage form of the ground and the layout of the main production units are determined. Combined with the actual situation of the mine, the vertical feeding system is used to transport the gangue. The diameter of the feeding hole is determined according to the feeding amount per unit time and the engineering analogy method. The field application shows that the amount of gangue can reach 600 t/h, and the maximum monthly output of the working face can reach 60 000 t, which has achieved good application effect.
