Abstract In view of the low level of automation and mechanization in the current application of mechanical sampling machine in coal quality inspection, based on the analysis of the structure of the current mechanical sampling machine, the problems and causes of the sampling head and the waste material return device of the mechanical sampling machine are analyzed, and the improvement scheme is put forward, which lays the foundation for improving the intelligent level and automation degree of the application of mechanical sampling machine in coal quality inspection.
