Abstract In order to grasp the distribution of in-situ stress field in Xingdong Mine, the in-situ stress measurement was carried out in 1224 working face. By comprehensively comparing the two commonly used methods of stress relief of hollow inclusion drilling and hydraulic fracturing, the hollow inclusion stress relief method is selected to measure the ground stress. Two measuring points were selected in the field. The test results show that the in-situ stress of Xingdong Mine is generally large, and the original rock stress field is mainly horizontal stress. The maximum lateral pressure coefficient of the two measuring points is 1.81. There is tectonic stress and the distribution of in-situ stress field is uniform, which provides basic data for the support design of Xingdong Mine.
