Abstract In coal mining production, the construction cost of roadway extraction is high and the operational efficiency is low, for which high level drilling technology can be applied to improve the efficiency of gas extraction. The principle of high level drilling to extract gas from the extraction area was introduced, the types of high level drilling construction technology for gas extraction were analyzed, and the technical problems and development trend of high level drilling technology for gas extraction were explored in detail.
