Abstract Aiming at the problems in the production process of methyl hydrazine, a new clean production process of methyl hydrazine was designed, Synthesis of methylhydrazine hydrochloride under heterogeneous conditions, and then through the processes of two crystallization, hydrazine hydrate neutralization, and distillation separation to obtain methylhydrazine in high yield.The whole process has no pollution waste gas and waste solid discharge. After many experiments, the recovery rate of hydrazine hydrochloride was 99%, and the yield of methyl hydrazine was more than 87%.
