Abstract Based on the extension and exploration project of No.15 coal seam in Chengzhuang Mine, the construction process of drilling was studied, and the conditions for the rig construction were given through the site overview analysis, with description and application of the process flow and main process. The process comparison between the reverse drilling rig construction and the normal wellbore boring method was carried out, highlighting the advantages of high efficiency and labor cost saving of the reverse drilling rig in the construction, with good application results in the actual application.
