The classification of submersible electric pumps in coal mines at present was discussed, the technical status of submersible pumps in China was elaborated, and the gap between the performance parameters of electric pumps in China and foreign countries through different performance curves of submersible pumps was given. Finally, suggestions for the optimization design of submersible electric pump and new safety suggestions for the technical requirements of submersible electric pumps beyond the standard range were put forward, which had certain reference for improving the safety performance of products and improving the level of technology.
