| Temperature effect on infrared spectroscopy of caprolactam |

Abstract The caprolactam organic molecular structure was characterized by the infrared spectroscopy (IR spectrum). The temperature effect on caprolactam was studied by temperature-dependent infrared spectroscopy (TD-IR spectrum). The mechanism of phase transition of caprolactam was studied further. It is found that with the increase of temperature, the chemical structure of caprolactam changs. The study demonstrates the key roles of TD-IR spectrum in the analysis of thermal stability of the caprolactam.
