Abstract Xingtai mine was limited by the special structure of the thin coal fully mechanized mining face. The traditional nearby power supply could not meet its requirements. In response to this problem, according to the arrangement of the equipment of the thin coal fully mechanized mining face in Xingtai Mine, combined with the actual load of the power supply line and the long distance of transportation, through theoretical calculation, the long-distance power supply technical indicators were tested and the calibration was carried out. Calculation and practice showed that the long-distance power supply system of the mine could meet the production requirements of thin coal fully mechanized mining face.
