Abstract The drive head frame as a key component in the belt conveyor, improving its structural strength is an important development direction to enhance the working efficiency of the belt conveyor. Based on the faults in the operation of the GX2000 belt conveyor head frame in Yungang Mine Transportation Station, the structural characteristics of the component were analyzed by establishing the simulation model of the driving head frame, and the column and the slope were obtained.
