Abstract Environmental emergency criteria is a defined threshold concentration value( toxic endpoint ), is of great significance for emergency disposal of environmental emergencies. Through the introduction of the United States, the European Union and other countries and regions of environmental risk emergency standard system, combining the current environmental risk emergency threshold selection, the disadvantages of environmental emergency threshold selection in our country were pointed out, and some suggestions on threshold value selection were given.
