Huangzhuang Mining area was taken as study object, based on the analysis of original data, the features of coal rock and coal quality of the mining coal seam was studied. The result showed that maceral group were vitrinite dominated, inertinite less; 一8 and 二1 are low ash coal; 四3 and五2 high ash coal, Total sulfur content of coal seam includes three groups, sulfur content lower down, from low sulfur coal to high sulfur coal. The direction of mining coal seam was got by analyzing coal quality, micronutrient levels, process performance of the coal seam.
