In order to better mine coal resources in Xiangning mining area, characteristics of strata and coal seams in this area were analyzed in detail, which showed that there were 13 coal seams, of which 1#、 2#、 9#、 10# coal seams were recoverable in the whole area. Key research was done on petrographic characteristics, coal quality characteristics and coal technological properties of 1#、 2#、 10# coal seams. At the same time, these coal seams were summed up as well.
