Abstract Based on disadvantages of traditional support method used in intersection of broken roadway, a new type anchor mesh cable support method was desiged. Through analysis of supporting effect, it was clear that this method could control deformation of surrounding rock in roadway intersection effectively, which showed obvious effect on stability of this intersection.
