Based on faliure reinforcement of horsehead gate in kilometer deep well of a mine, powerful strata behaviors, cracking of arch walling and difficulties in strengthening support, the prestressed anchor was used to carry out anchor on horsehead gate roof and upper chamber floor, which achieved good reinforcement effect that controlled deformation of surrounding rock effectively.
