Abstract In order to solve problem of gas drainage borehole sealing quality in Yangdong Mine, the polyurethane“two sealing and one grouting” section grouting sealing technique under fracture development zone was put forward and its sealing principle and technological process were also introduced. At the same time, the comparison test of 2 kinds of gas drainage hole sealing effect in the 8263 scraper conveyor was carried out. The results showed that compared to the old way of hole-sealing, gas scalar was increased by 2.5 times in the same time after using new hole-sealing technology, the drainage gas scalar kept a high value consistently, gas flow attenuation became diminution, and effective pumping time of drilling holes was increased, which improved the effect of gas drainage in coal seam.
