Abstract There are several problems in digital paper seismic section, such as the abnormal amplitude, low SNR, crease, manual annotation, etc.. As a result, the digital paper seismic section cannot be used to seismic interpretation. By the technology for suppression of seismic noise and signal enhancement, the defects of digital paper seismic were solved well, which laid a good foundation for the joint interpretation of new and old data and structure mapping in the study area.
