Abstract The oil was extracted from peony seed under magnetization condition. The effects of liquid-solid ratio, magnetization intensity, extraction time, extraction temperatue on the yield of peony seed oil were studied. The experiment results show that liquid-solid ratio is 1∶7, magnetization intensity is 720 mT, extraction time is 60 min and extraction temperature is 55 ℃ , which are the optimized technology conditions. Under these conditions, the extracted rate of peony seed oil is 27.5%.
