Membrane separation technology adopts inorganic or high polymer materials with special selective separation function as separating medium, with the help of outside energy or chemical potential,  to separate, classify and gather two or multi-component gas or liquid. It is currently the first choice for environmental protection and environmental governance,and  it is also playing an important role in the food industry. Membrane separation is gradually adopted in antibiotics extraction area as the key technology.The application of the membrane separation technology in streptomycin production was introduced,including fermentation broth clarification, concentration and endotoxin removal.It is pointed out that the membrane separation technology has the advantages of low energy consumption, high efficiency, simple equipment and easy operation etc.，so it  will replace the traditional separation, purification and enrichment technology to apply in modern pharmaceutical industry.
