In order to improve roadway mining speed, ensure gas control time and space and realize gas control up to standards, based on the roadway construction experience of No. 8 Mine, under the condition of unable to realize the continuous transportation, EBZ260 mining machine was adopted to optimize transportation, cutting head of mining machine was transformed based on site situation, labor organization was optimized to realize rapid mining in large section hard rock roadway, which provided enough time and space for region gas control.
