Abstract Through analyzing the geological conditions and original mining method of Wulihou mine, a conclusion that the top coal caving was unreasonable was drew. Combined with the actual mine production, the original mining technology was optimized, caving coal mining recovery rate was much lower than a full high recovery, under high yield and efficiency requirements, full-seam mining was advisable.
