Abstract In order to solve the rope skipping phenomenon caused by the wear of the rope pulley during the use of the endless rope traction truck, this paper designs and develops a pneumatic rope beam device based on the operation steps that need to manually remove and install the rope pulley to prevent rope skipping in some mining areas in China. Through the linkage between the pneumatic system and the pressure rope beam structure, the device uses the pneumatic force of the cylinder to realize the compression and relaxation of the pressure rope beam to the steel wire rope, and then another cylinder completes the insertion and extraction of the pin, thus completing a working cycle. The use of the device can replace the original part involving labor, improve the safety and production efficiency of production work, and can be promoted and used in various mining areas of the same type.
