Abstract In view of the large roadway pressure and difficult support in the crossing construction of -850 m horizontal roadway in Yangdong Mine, when the combined support scheme of conventional anchor net spray + anchor cable + steel belt + grouting was adopted, the control effect of surrounding rock was poor, and the deformation of roof cracking and two sides spalling occured in the roadway soon after the support was formed. The support technology of deep roadway passing through collapse column was put forward, and the high strength hollow grouting anchor cable was used to strengthen the support of roadway. After the implementation of the scheme, the integrity and stability of roadway were well maintained, the purpose of combined roadway protection was realized, and the safety of-850 m belt roadway passing through collapse column was guaranteed.
