Abstract The indication error of raw milk freezing point testers was detected by using national standard reference materials. The uncertainty of indication error and measurement result is evaluated through the establishment of mathematical model, which is including the uncertainty introduced by measurement repeatability, reference materials and instrument resolution. When the measuring point: -400、-408、-450、-500、-512、-520、-557、-600 m ℃, the expanded uncertainty 0.8,1.0,1.0,0.9,1.0,1.0,1.0,1.1 m ℃(k=2).
