Abstract α-Bromoacetophenone and its derivatives are important intermediates in organic synthesis. In order to solve the problem that it is difficult to select brominating agent in the synthesis of α-bromoacetophenone, acetophenone was used as raw material, hydrobromic acid was used as brominating agent and catalyst, hydrogen peroxide was used as oxidant, the effects of feed ratio, reaction temperature and reaction time on the reaction were studied. The results showed that under the conditions of n (acetophenone)∶ n (hydrogen bromide) = 1.0∶3.0, n (acetophenone)∶ n (hydrogen peroxide) = 1.0∶1.05, the reaction temperature is 5~15 ℃, the reaction time is 16~24 h, the yield of α-bromoacetophenon was more than 98%, and the purity was more than 99%. The synthesis method is simple to operate, is suitable for large-scale industrial production, and is a new green synthesis method.
