Abstract In the gas drainage drilling of the 13171 bottom pumping road in Tucheng Mine, different water-solid ratio super high water materials were used in 11 groups of boreholes by comparing two kinds of sealing materials, cement slurry and super high water material. Add ultra-high water material in water, the water-solid ratio was set to 9∶1 as the best material ratio, and the sealing length was set to 14 m according to the integrated cuttings method. The results showed that the ultra-high water material was used to block the gas drainage hole, so that the mixed slurry flowing into the construction area can be cemented and agglomerated in a controlled time to reach the design strength, and the grouting time was only 50% of the cement grouting. The cost of grouting could be reduced by 63%, with broad prospects for promotion.
