Abstract By calculating the roofing pressure and the support strength of crossing 3-05 working face empty roadway, the size of the mine pressure before and after crossing empty roadway was compared, and the top and bottom plates within the influence range of mining was observed. The amount of the approaching and the fault repairing work of the strengthening support system were carried out, and the corresponding comprehensive control technology of the anchor cable reinforcement support was proposed. The research showed that the strengthening support measures of the anchor bolt and the wooden column combined support when the working face passing the empty roadway ensured the smooth and safe mining of the working face.
