With the increase of coal mining depth, coal and gas outburst accident were prone to happen when deep close distance coal seam roadway advancing. In order to avoid in the process of excavating burst accident, advanced detection of geological structure, advanced detection of coal seam, layout of drill hole, different outburst prevention measures such as strengthening support were adopted based on different normal distance from coal seam. Through site test, the method could effectively avoid the coal and gas outburst accidents in deep process of close distance coal seam roadway advancing. The technology could effectively maintain the integrity of the roof, be effective in gas drainage, have certain reference significance for outburst prevention technique in roadway advancing.
