The important derivatives polythiophene, poly (3, 4 - 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) is one of the most successful applied conductive polymers. The precursor compound,4,7-bis(2,3-dihydrothieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-5-yl)benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole (EDOT-BT-EDOT) was designed and synthesized by using benzothiadiazole as acceptor unit, and which had excellent orange-light-emitting property. The corresponding polymer material P(EDOT-BT-EDOT) was obtained by electropolymerization, which had good electrochemical activity, stability, smooth and dense surface morphology.
