Based on the large size of cyclone dust collector, large resistance and low dewatering efficiency problem, the critical wind speed, resistance and other key parameters of corrugated baffle were calculated, those key parameters were tested and validated through the collector test platform, which provided the basis for filter dewatering design improvements. The corrugated plate dehydration technique applied to KCS550 wet cyclone dust collector for dehydration improvement effectively reduced the length, weight and resistance of collector and improved the dewatering efficiency.
