The source and composition of impurity in circulating octanol, the effects of impurities on Pt-Co of dioctyl phthalate (DOP) were analyzed , the feasibility of azeotropic distillation was tested, and some suggestions to reduce the light constituent and the heavy constituent were put forward.Using the existing production equipment,circulating octanol were distillated to reduce the impurity content.
