The fault structure exposed in Pangpangta Coal Mine was generally consistent with the direction of the crossheading, and some faults were located inside the working face, which had a great impact on the normal mining of the working face. In order to solve this problem, taking the No.9-805 Face of the mine as an example, the reflection in-seam wave seismic exploration technology was used to detect the hidden geological structure on the adjacent side of the working face. The distribution of faults and other abnormal bodies on the adjacent side of the working face was identified by means of channel wave seismic data processing such as spectrum analysis and energy analysis, which had certain guiding significance for the layout of another roadway and cutting roadway on the working face.
