Abstract: Wangpo Mine had a large amount of precipitation and a long duration in the flood season. A large amount of surface water penetrated into the wellbore, and the wellbore was destroyed, resulting in an abnormal increase in wellbore gushing water, which in turn led to high mine ventilation pressure, high production costs, and potential safety hazards. In view of these problems, this paper put forward the exploration method of constructing hydrogeological exploration hole, matching hydrological logging and conventional logging, and hydrochemical analysis of gushing water. According to the analysis of the surface water penetrating layer, the surface water penetrating layer and the main water gushing layer were determined. Finally, the grouting plugging scheme was used to realize the control of wellbore water gushing. The results showed that the exploration of the water gushing layer of the return air shaft was accurate, and the gushing water of the wellbore was reduced from 80 m3/ min to 25 m3/ min after three rounds of drilling hole grouting. The plugging effect was good.
