Abstract: Permeability coefficient is an extremely important parameter in hydrogeological parameters. In order to study the accuracy of the calculation of permeability coefficient, taking the pumping ( drainage ) test data of ' hydrogeological supplementary exploration of Tianzhuang Mine in Shandong Province ' project as the research background, the permeability coefficient was calculated by Theis formula and Dupuit formula respectively. The Theis formula adopted two methods : drawdown-time wiring method and Jacob linear graphic method. The Dupuit formula adopted three methods : single-hole pumping without eliminating well loss to calculate permeability coefficient, single-hole pumping to eliminate well loss to calculate permeability coefficient and multi-hole pumping to calculate permeability coefficient. The calculation results of the five methods were compared and analyzed, which showed that the calculation results of the two methods of Theis formula were similar. The calculation results of single-hole pumping after eliminating well loss were similar to those of multi-hole pumping, and the permeability coefficient calculated without eliminating well loss was smaller. The hydrogeological parameters calculated by Dupuit formula and Theis formula were quite different, and the reasons needed further study.
