Through analyzing shale composition, trace elements,  authigenic minerals other characteristics in Xuanhua area, concluded that the mudstone mainly formed under weakly alkaline weak reduction of inland freshwater lakes, which had important significance for restoration of the ancient environment area and mastering coal accumulating law.
