Underground drilling equipment in China has gone through three stages of development: mechanical vertical shaft drilling rigs, fully hydraulic drilling rigs and intelligent drilling rigs, which have improved the safety control and construction efficiency of underground drilling in specific environments, but still face the problem of soft rock drilling. Kailuan Mine combines its own geological characteristics of large water, high gas and other mines and mine development positioning, introduces advanced drilling equipment and technology from home and abroad, and explores and practices comprehensive supporting drilling technology methods.
