According to the equipment configuration of the main ventilator station and the arrangement of the main ducts, dampers and other ancillary facilities in the No. 3 air shaft of the Xiegou Mine, quantitative methods and comparative analysis were used to propose the main fan configuration scheme for the intelligent ventilation system of a large mine. The analysis showed that the axial flow fan was more adaptable to the changing mine ventilation conditions, and the non-stop air reversal system was favorable to the safe mining. It was more conducive to the ventilation safety of the mine and facilitating the intelligent upgrade of the ventilation system in the future.
