The formulation and technology of cefpodoxime proxetil for suspensions were determined. Using the dissolution, sedimentation volume, redispersibility and precipitation as the evaluation index, through inverstigting prescription factors which are, and optimize the formulation of cefpodoxime proxetil for suspension was adapted to design three factors and three levels. The studied and process factors included the following contents: type and dose of filling agent, and type dose of disintegrating agent, and binder concentration dring temperature and time of granulation, premixed time and adding order of flavouring. The results show that the determined formulation and technology of the cefpodoxime proxetil for suspension is feasible, and the product should be considered the consistent with the reference preparation in quality.
