The infrared fingerprint of rosemary was used as a research method to provide new ideas for the quality and evaluation of rosemary from different origins. Whether Whether Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) can be used in the analysis of rosemary from different origins was studied through Collect rosemary samples from 6 different regions in China, analyzing the infrared spectrum of the rosemary using analytic characterization, similarity, principal component analysis and cluster analysis. This technology is applied to the analysis of origin. The results show that the similarity of each map is high, but the methods of infrared spectrum analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis can provide effective help for the analysis and identification of rosemary from different places. The combination of infrared fingerprint technology and metrological method is reliable for the identification of the origin of rosemary medicinal materials. This study provides a new idea for the study of rosemary from different origins and similar issues.
