The geological structure in the coal mining face directly affects the efficiency of the working face mining process. If there is pressure water mining, there will be a water inrush threat. Therefore, the geological structure development in the working face is more accurate before mining. Aiming at the problem of geological structure exploration in thick coal seams, taking the thick coal seam of a mining face in Inner Mongolia as an example, the geologic structure was explored by slot wave transmission technology in the working face, and the speed scanning method was used in the interpretation process to obtain more accurate work, with the distribution characteristics of structures of the working face.
