Spherical shaped silver powder was prepared by chemical reduction method with ascorbic acid as reducing agent and gelatin as dispersant.The influnces of concentration of silver nitrate solution, dispersing agent, reaction temperature, stirring rate on the silver particle size and distribution were investigated. The silver powder was characterized by TEM and SEM.
