Based on actual production requirements and system control requirements of coal preparation plant, heavy medium coal preparation PLC control system plan was put forward, control system hardware selection, I/O point allocation and communication design were conducted, Industrial wireless network for data communication was suggested between lower computer controls the distance and the main station sub-station, the feasibility of industrial wireless network technology in dense medium coal separation was discussed.
