Aiming at the problem of large error between paste preparation volume and pumping volume, a mathematic model of paste-finished buffer bucket was established, and a fuzzy PD controller was designed to make the volume of the paste production and the paste pumped can achieve balance, which improves the filling system robustness. By Simulink simulation, the fuzzy PD control results were compared with traditional PD control results. The results show that the fuzzy PD controller is superior to the traditional PD controller in overshoot and convergence rate, and better meets the control requirements.
