In order to make terminal heating in winter more convenient and safe as well as save energy and cost,characteristics of coal terminal was analyzed through consulting technical data. At the same time, feasibility and advantages of coal terminal and application of air source heat pump were proofed through site repeated reconnaissance. This technology focused on selection of equipment and made implementation plan according to actual situation at site. The research showed that air source heat pump technology was a kind of energy saving, environmental protection and heating technology based on principle of reverse Kano cycle, which obtained low temperature heat source by natural energy (air heat storage). After high efficient heat collection and integration, it became high temperature heat source to take (provide) warm or supply hot water. This whole system had high heat collecting efficiency, which could solve problems of large electricity bill in winter port, high risk of electric shock, single function and serious pollution, etc.
