Ground construction engineering was threatened by old goaf in shallow zone of mine. High-density electrical method was used to explore shallow goaf in a district of Jilin province, plane distribution of the shallow old goaf was basically identified and there was a better response to faults. The results of geophysical exploration were well verified by drilling and provided basic information and basis for the planning and construction of ground engineering.
