Water inrush in coal seam floor of taiyuan formation was always the focus of water control in Shenzhuang Mine. Based on distribution features of specific capacity and water bursting coefficient, as well as combining test results of failure depth of coal seam and water resistance performance, water bursting risk in coal seam floor of taiyuan formation was made qualitative and quantitative evaluation, which showed that threat of ordovician limestone to six mining area, seven mining area and eastern of four mining area was seriously. The research results provided basis and guidance for mine prevention and control.
